Lindsay Morgan

Lindsay Morgan is an Idaho native, artist, mother, and has a heart for victim advocacy. After graduating Lewis-Clark State College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, she spent 17 years in various positions throughout federal and county courts in Idaho, including time as a Probation Officer. As a result, Lindsay developed a holistic lens of the issues our community faces and ways we can heal the collective by starting with children. She is a trained in motivational interviewing, trauma recovery, and individualizing community-based treatment and rehabilitation. Along with her work at CREC, she is also the Program Engagement Officer for Fosterful, a nonprofit organization helping to soften the transition for children into foster care. As a freelance art instructor, she encourages creativity as a recovery tool; an expression of energy to soothe the rough edges of the harsh world her students carry. She has a strong belief and practice that our lives are our personal masterpiece and translates into all we touch, create, feel and advocate for which will individually affect the way we experience and interpret the world around us. She is constantly adjusting the sway between professional development and play by dedicating herself to her community work while also finding time to create, push the boundaries on style and interior design, spending time outdoors with her family, laughing and exploring with her 9-year-old son, Everett, and making noise on her champagne pink Harley Davidson motorcycle.
